1. Who we are

Eternal Echoes is operated by Sandra Hangi ("the seller", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Eternal Echoes website and app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

2. The service

Eternal Echoes lets you create virtual memorials — headstones or urns, epitaphs, places, photos and tributes — and share them worldwide or privately with family and friends. Creating a memorial, visiting, reading and leaving emoji tributes are free. Optional paid extras are described below.

3. Your account and content

• You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe.
• You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant us a licence to host, store and display it as part of the service, according to the privacy setting of each memorial.
• You must have the right to share the content you upload, including photographs and details of the deceased, and you are responsible for it.

Community rules — respect for every Echo

Everyone agrees to these rules when creating an account:

• Eternal Echoes may never be used to spread hate, violence, racism, assault, threats, harassment or rude language.
• Swear words, racist slurs (such as the f-word and the n-word) and other rude comments are detected automatically and are not published.
• Anyone can report a memorial or tribute that breaks these rules.
• The administrator, Sandra Hangi, may remove content and close any account that spreads hate or disrespect, without refund of payments made for that account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Eternal Echoes to:

• post hateful, violent, harassing, defamatory or disrespectful content;
• impersonate others or create memorials intended to mock, shame or harm;
• upload content you have no right to use, or unlawful content;
• interfere with the service, scrape it, or attempt to access others' private data.

Memorials can be reported from within the app. We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with or without notice where the violation is serious.

5. Purchases and Paddle as Merchant of Record

Paid extras — such as writing tributes, the life story, extra album photos, music and audio — are unlocked per person, per memorial, for a one-time payment of USD 1.99. Each visitor who wants to use paid extras on a memorial pays for their own unlock.

All purchases are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates), which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Paddle is the seller of record for your transaction: it handles payment, applicable taxes (including VAT/sales tax), invoicing and refunds. Your bank or card statement will show the charge as coming from Paddle. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

6. Refunds

Please see our Refund Policy — you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase.

7. Intellectual property

The Eternal Echoes name, logo, design and software belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Content uploaded by users belongs to those users as described in section 3.

8. Closing and reopening memorials

The creator of a memorial can pause it while creating it, or close it at any time. A closed memorial stays visible as a locked, blurred resting place. Reopening a closed memorial requires paying again for the paid extras.

9. Liability

We provide the service "as is" and do our best to keep it available and your content safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for content posted by users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
